I’m a problem-solver by nature- and by necessity.
Before life threw its curveballs, I was the Project Director behind a pioneering, fully accessible hotel designed specifically for people living with mobility, visual, or hearing challenges. That experience deepened my lifelong commitment to accessibility, dignity, and thoughtful design.
Later, I spent over a decade in France transforming a derelict Cognac distillery into a thriving wedding venue. I personally hosted more than 300 weddings for international clients, navigating high-stress, emotionally charged moments with calm, clarity, and a sense of humour. I’ve also worked across the UK and Caribbean, helping people manage conflict, expectations, and pressure with practical empathy.
Then, eight years ago, I survived a brain tumour and a stroke – a life-altering event that left me temporarily paralysed and changed the way I see the world. That experience didn’t just test me physically and emotionally; it deepened my understanding of what it means to be excluded, unheard, or left behind. It also strengthened my resolve to make things better for others.
Now, I use everything I’ve learned- from building spaces that work for everyone, to resolving heated wedding meltdowns, to fighting my way back to full health – to help people resolve real-life disputes. Whether it’s faulty goods, shoddy workmanship, inaccessibility, or businesses that simply won’t listen, I step in when people feel out of their depth.
Fully trained I specialise in consumer rights, informal dispute resolution, and accessibility consultancy, with a particular focus on disability rights and inclusive environments.
My Mission is simple:
To help people be heard, respected, and resolved – without the stress, cost, or confusion of going it alone.

I’ve built my career from the ground up- starting with determination, a strong work ethic, and a passion for solving problems and building businesses that make a difference.
Over the years, I’ve launched and grown multiple ventures. I ran a successful grounds maintenance company for over 20 years, then founded a multimillion-pound care organisation for young people with complex behavioural needs, where I also trained as a crisis intervention specialist and Appropriate Adult.
In 2006, I designed and built one of the UK’s first fully accessible hotels, featuring hoists, hydrotherapy, and barrier-free layouts- long before accessibility was a mainstream concern.
Later, my wife and I transformed a derelict French distillery into a luxury wedding venue and expanded with a second in the Caribbean. Across all our ventures, people and purpose have always come first.
Now, I bring together a lifetime of experience in problem-solving, negotiation, and inclusive practice to help people resolve disputes-from poor workmanship and inaccessibility to general complaints and complex issues where people just need support, clarity, and someone in their corner.
My Mission is simple:
Help people cut through confusion, stand up for their rights, and resolve problems with clarity, fairness, and dignity.
